Credits
- Pokémon Showdown (MIT licence), by Guangcong Luo and its contributors: its simulator plays every game, and its battle log is the text that the models read.
- The battle sprites in the replays come from Pokémon Showdown’s sprite server, as in Showdown’s own replays.
- The @pkmn libraries (MIT licence), by pre and their contributors: the battle state and the battle text that each player sees.
- The fonts: Inter by Rasmus Andersson, and Press Start 2P by CodeMan38, both under the SIL Open Font License.
- The reference bots: the heuristic bot is a port of the SimpleHeuristicsPlayer of poke-env (MIT licence). Foul Play by pmariglia (GPL-3.0) plays on our own local Showdown server; its code is not part of the PokéBench code.
- The pixel art of this site is our own, in the style of the first Game Boy games.
Method
The method page describes how the games are played and how the ratings are computed.
